My parents took the liberty of being creative with the spelling of my name. Sure I like it, but even now with the last name Farar NO ONE ever spells my name right. Its the little things like, if I wanted my name on something my mom had to special order it. My grandparents didn't even spell my name right!! I swore I would always spell my kids names as normal as possible. Obviously it's your kid, so do what you want, but the more normal the easier!
yeah, I think everybody would always get it wrong :(
I always liked my unusual name, though none of the boys have one...
I guess I mainly like at least one the names to have a family significance :)

Atom as in Atom Bomb? I think that if your last name is unusual, the first name needs to be normal. Adam... everyone would know how to say it. Atom... people would find someother way that Adam because that would seem wrong. Trust me, I would know. No one ever gets my name right. (first or last)
I have two Adams so I had to vote for them. But my name is spell in a unique way and I have always liked it, I guess I am no help at all, sorry! Either way, I love the name.
Adam, are you trying to get him teased forever at school?
My first thought was the atom bomb. I love the name Adam, but I would spell it the regular way. Good luck either way we will Love him.
I think it would be a tough name because the creative spelling has its own meaning. It isn't a Caitlin or Katelyn type of problem, but more of a bore or boar problem. I believe they are homonyms? Which means they are homonymic?
