Blah

The summer continues to drag on..........

I have been feeling pretty awful and don't do much of anything except a lot of lying down. I have a hiatal hernia which isn't making this any easier too. My poor kids are having the most boring summer ever. To those of you who suggested we get together, I'm sorry I've never responded, I just don't feel up to going anywhere or doing anything. I am about 10 weeks today and I'm due Jan 19th. Part of me feels that I won't make it to that point for some reason or another.

At my last dr's appt it was revealed that I have a small pool of blood where the placenta has seperated from uterus. I have an ultra sound next week to check on this further. I know that a placenta abruption can take place in the 2nd and 3rd trimester, but I'm not sure what they do about it in the first. I feel that an abruption started happening with Allison, but nothing came back from pathology confirming that after I had her, but I feel that something was happening. My dr. didn't seem too concerned though, we'll see what happens. I've already been lying down a ton.........mostly just because I don't feel well.

Daniel was chosen for the all star baseball team, so baseball continues..........He hasn't had a game yet, just practices. I hope I can drag myself to his games, it's been sooo incredibly hot.

That doesn't sound good. My heart goes out to you. It is hard enough to be pregnant, let alone to be in pain and have to lay around.

Cody made the last post under Darren's login. Sorry, Darren probably wouldn't understand as well as I would.

Suzy, I had one with Taryn. They are quite common and often just go away and leave nothing to worry about. Thus the reason your doctor wasen't too concerned. Good luck though. I don't envy your prosition at all.

I didn't tell anyone that I was pregnant with Hayden until I was 17 weeks because of that same problem. I feel for you. Go take a nap.

I am sorry you are not feeling well. Just look at it this way, you're supposed to be tired and laying around a lot, let the kids and hubby take care of you for a change!

Hey Suzy! Congrats on the new baby. That's very exciting. I had one of those with our little Alex. I had to lay low for a few months, but all turned out well. I decided that it was probably I had the sickness too, because it kinda forced me to stay down. Really try some Zofran. (After about the 4 time in the hospital this last pregnancy they stopped trying anything else because it's all that really works.) It is my best friend when I'm pregnant. Good luck! Hope you get feeling better.
